Choose Traits for each following categories. Each Trait starts with a rating of 3.

Abilities

These are the attributes, skills, talents, vocations and training your character uses to affect the world around them.

Choose a Trait for each in the category below:

  • Social: How does your does your character primarily interact with others?
    • Examples: "Winning Smile", "Intimidation", "Empathy", "Cunning Manipulator"
  • Combat: How does your character handle situations where negotiations break down or aren't an option?
    • Examples: "Martial Arts", "Marksman", "Artful Dodger"
  • Specialization: This is an area of talent that the character particularly excels in, and is their unique contribution to the group as a whole.
    • Examples: "Demolitions", "Hacking", "Public Relations", "Born Leader"

Identity

These are attitudes, motivations, quirks or temperaments that define your character as an individual.

Choose 1 - 3 Traits for this category:

  • Beliefs: Religion, philosophy ideology or any other system of belief that the character espouses.
    • Examples: "Pacifist", "Nazi", "Buddhist", "Capitalist", "Class Superiority"
  • Drives: Causes your character would die or at the least suffer great personal loss for.
    • Examples: "Clean up the Streets of My Hometown", "Avenge My Lover's Murder", "Prove My Innocence"
  • Fates: Special things destiny has in store for you. These are events that are fated to come to pass.
    • Examples: "Fall From Grace", "Claim my Father's Throne", "Fall in the Line of Duty"

Assets

These are important people and things that tie your character to the world around them.

Choose 2 - 3 Traits for this category:

  • Relationships: These are allies, contacts, family, friends or affiliations that the character can draw upon.
    • Examples: "Young Daughter", "Network of Spies", "Blood Brother", "Mentor", "Hated Nemesis"
  • Resources: These are items, equipment, wealth or property at your character's disposal.
    • Examples: "Swiss Bank Account", "Father's Sword", "Family Farm", "Magical Amulet"

Wrapping Up

Once you have chosen all of your Traits you can distribute 3 additional points among each Trait category, raising no Rating above 5.
