Good & Evil, Incorporated

RedBarschetta

Red Barschetta

Red Barschetta
Setting Description: Outlaw street racers raise the flag of revolution against a corrupt state in a world running out of oil.
Inspiration: The Rush song of the same title.
License to Kick Ass: Despite the private ownership of automobiles being outlawed, you have one and are compelled to race against your fellow outlaw drivers as a way to thumb your nose at the authorities, who are determined to take away the cars you so cherish.
Chi Is: Personal freedom; you lose it when you are jailed or your car is taken away.
Sample Character Concepts: Automotive Preservationist; Cockey Speed Jockey; Street Philosopher with a Grudge, Outlaw Rocker
Typical Tasks: Race your allies to see who has the better car and who is the better driver; find parts and fuel on the black market, get your hands on that perfect '69 Thunderbird before the State compacts it, spring fellow racers from captivity
Suitable Traits: Mad Driving Skills, Evasive Maneuvers, Know Everything There Is to Know About Cars, Lead a Double Life so the State Doesn't Put You Away
Suitable Weaknesses:
Showoff, Marked for Death by the Black Market Gangs, Speed Addict
Mooks: The local cops, goons of the black market gangs you must get fuel and parts from, soldiers, State supporters blocking your route
Nemeses: The top officers of the Traffic Patrol, the best hit men and enforcers for the Black Market Lords
Example Descriptions: Faced with a roadblock, I use the road obstructions they've placed as ramps to leap over the police cars – it may be hell on the suspension, but I don't want to scratch the paint! While I sail over the heads, I holler a hearty "F--- You!" to the pigs below to the accompaniment of Sammy Hagar on full blast on my stereo!
